Blendi Cumani, M.D., is a hand and wrist surgeon and founding partner at Dakota Medical in Minot, ND. Dr. Cumani treats all disorders of the hand and wrist, including fractures, nerve compression, tendonitis, tendon injuries, arthritic conditions, endoscopic carpal tunnel releases, and general trauma care.

After moving to the United States from his native Albania, Dr. Cumani attended Temple University, obtained his medical degree from the Medical University of the Americas, and completed his General Surgical residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York, NY. He went on to complete a fellowship for hand and microvascular surgery at the prestigious Kleinert and Kutz Institute in Louisville, Kentucky. He is board-certified in General and Hand Surgery and has been practicing in Minot for thirteen years.

Dr. Cumani is an avid outdoorsman. When he is not in the OR, he is most likely out hunting and fishing with his two daughters or a few of his patients.
